'Aticos AGS Limited' trades under the name of 'Aticos' and is a Company registered in the United Kingdom since 2013. Although the Company may be deemed to still be in its infancy the knowledge of the industry and experience far exceeds this timeline.....

At inception, the Company was predominantly designed to supply and install a single product line of uPVC Products from a sole manufacturer. This strategy was smothering and did not allow the Company to diversify into other aspects of the industry. It was decided to open up the portfolio and offer a host of product lines which enabled the Company to be free to offer a wider range of solutions whilst ensuring our clients receive the best product to suit their requirements.

Since this decision was made the Company has diversified into a multitude of UPVC products encompassing a wide range of modern and progressive styles. Additionally, the recent demand for aluminium products within the Glass Industry has provided the opportunity for the Company to expand further afield and work with some truly inspiring manufacturers offering some stunning systems.

The Glass Industry has come a long way since the cold-calling salesmen of the 80s. Today the industry is not about selling discounted products to the mass market but is one of creating style and pleasing aesthetics whilst considering energy resources and eliminating heat loss.

'Aticos' is a prime example of how a Company within this sector 'should be'. It is not our intention to push unwanted products onto our clients, nor is it our intention to keep you blinkered into one specific product range. POSSIBILITIES

The options available to both Commercial and Residential clients with regard to their Structured Glass and Glazing requirements have grown exponentially over the last decade. Once upon a time, the only options were Timber or Crittall and then Aluminium was introduced to the market and UPVC products soon followed thereafter. The most common product ranges within the market are based upon Aluminium and UPVC due to the longevity and thermal enhancements of these materials.

Historically both products have proven to be of good quality and have stood the tests of time, however, modern design technology has brought both forward in leaps and bounds. The Aluminium frames are now powder coated to specific RAL colours so the paint does not flake like it once did and the UPVC Frames can be designed so sleek that you could not tell the difference between them and Timber/Aluminium.

New designs and innovative methods of manufacturing are now enabling the industry to create some stunning solutions that reinvent a property. Enabling a seamless flow from outdoor to indoor is one such solution and has been utilised in recent years with bi-folding doors. Opening up windows is a very similar scenario and can literally create a panoramic view without obtrusive frames spoiling the aesthetics.

The concept of minimalism within buildings is a style that was learnt from Scandinavian countries and has been a very favourable design concept since being introduced to the industry.

Replacing structural walls with sliding glass systems not only allows a property to appreciate the benefits of additional light but creates an entirely new look to a building.
